Heather and Gene got married on Saturday, the 27th of March, at a small
family wedding in Sydney. Gene's parents and sister flew in from New Zealand.
Terry made the cake (cheesecake) and Amanda organised the flowers. Terry
made dresses for herself and Heather. We rented an apartment for the weekend
and had cake and food in the apartment. We went to a resturant for dinner.
Gene is waiting for his visa to work in the USA. He will start at the University
of Chicago as soon as possible. He will help build a microwave telescope
which will take six months. He will operate the telescope at the American
South Pole base for a year. Heather will resign her position in Sydney and seek a job when she returns (while
Gene is at the South Pole).
